It is confirmed that the Infiniiums S Series oscilloscopes can be used as a component of the B1542A 10 ns pulsed IV solution.  

The S Series oscilloscopes are supported as a kind of DSO/MSO9000 series with the latest version of the B1542A software (A.01.10.2011.09.15 + PA.01.10.20120111). To use the S Series oscilloscope, it is necessary to select DSO9000 Series oscilloscope in the configuration. Here is an updated list of supported equipment for the B1542A:Keysight_B1542A_10_ns_pulsed_IV_solution_image

  • SMU (1): B1500A, 4155B/C, 4156B/C, E5270B, E5260A
  • PGU (2): 8110A, 81101A, 81110A, 81150A

Oscilloscope (3): 54850 series, DSO/MSO 8000 series, DSO 80000 series, DSO/MSO 9000 series, DSO 90000 series, DSO S series

  1. At least 3 SMUs are required to perform switch pulsed IV and DC IV measurement automatically
  2. Minimum pulse with depends on the model of PGU
  3. 1 GHz or higher bandwidth is recommended for 10 ns pulsed IV measurement
