The 1441 VIR Signal Deleter/Inserter (used with Tektronix 1440 Automatic Video Corrector) provides an economical means for insertion of the Vertical Interval Reference Signal (VIRS) on line 19 of the video signal. It lets you remotely control the deletion and insertion of the VIRS. The VIRS is internally generated by the 1441 and remote control is provided from ground closures through a 24 pin connector shipped with the unit.
