Description
The Keysight 8443B Tracking Generator / Counter is an enhancement for the 141T / 8553B / 8552B Spectrum Analyzer System. Provides a CW signal, from 100kHz to 110MHz, which tracks the frequency tuning of the Spectrum Analyzer or restores the Spectrum Analyzer input signal.
The 8443B also includes a 7-digit frequency counter section which can monitor internal or external signals up to 120MHz. Amplitude range: -120 dBm to +10 dBm, within 0.5 dB, in 1 dB and 10 dB steps. In the Track Analyzer Mode, the Keysight 8443B displays the counted frequency of a tunable marker. The Restore Mode allows individual signals to be counted in a wide scan without fine tuning. Counter Modes available are Marker, Scan Hold and External. Resolution (gate times): 1kHz (1 ms), 100Hz (10 ms) and 10Hz (100 ms). This generator incorporates an ovenized 1MHz timebase with an accuracy of 1x10E-09.
