Description
For serial applications, the 8118A offers two data channels with full pulse-generator capability so that limiting parametric conditions can be measured during functional test. The channels can be added in order to simulate multilevel codes, such as HDB3 or 2B1Q. 16-kb memory in each channel gives plenty of space for ISDN data frames. In addition to the built-in editor, a non-supported HP BASIC program is available for setting up data.
