Description

The HP 41424A voltage source/voltage monitor unit provides two voltage monitors and two voltage supplies with built-in ammeters. The voltage monitors can be connected in a differential measurement configuration for improved resolution. The module occupies a single slot in the 4142B DC source/monitor.

• Voltage source ranges
  • Voltage: ±20 V to ±40 V, 1 mV to 2 mV set resolution,  ±0.1% accuracy, 100 mA to 20 mA maximum current
  • Current: ±20 mA to ±100 mA, 20 µA to 100 µA measured resolution, ±3% accuracy
• Voltage monitor ranges
  • ±2 V, 40 µV measured resolution, ±0.05% accuracy
  • ±20 V, 400 µV measured resolution, ±0.05% accuracy
  • ±40 V, 800 µV measured resolution, ±0.05% accuracy
• Differential voltage monitor range: ±0.2 V to ±2 V, 4 µV to 40 µV measured resolution
• The voltage source has a current limiter. The limiter value is automatically determined by the output voltage range. If the output range is 20 V, the current limit is 100 mA. If the output range is 40 V, the current limit is 20 mA
