The Megger 569001-7 ultrasonic tone generator helps detect leaks in tanks, pipes, and sealed containers in automotive, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications. The unit is placed inside the empty enclosure to be tested, and it emits a 40-kilohertz frequency that is detected by the Megger 569001-KIT ultrasonic leak and corona detector (not included). It operates on one 9-volt battery (included) and measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.75 inches (89 x 57 x 44 mm, H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back).
