Description
The HP 814B carriage is designed for use with the following waveguide slotted sections and untuned probes:
- K815B (192 mm): 18 to 26.5 GHz (when combined with the 814B) waveguide slotted section (from the 815B series of slotted sections), residual SWR of 1.01
- R815B (192 mm): 26.5 to 40 GHz (when combined with the 814B) waveguide slotted section (from the 815B series of slotted sections), residual SWR of 1.01
- 446B: Broadband untuned probe (18 to 40 G)
The 814B carriage is equipped with a dial indicator for direct, accurate reading. It reads to 0.01 mm.
Slotted sections can be easily interchanged and precisely positioned. They are available in the K and R bands: 18 to 40 Gc (gigacycles per second).
Only one probe is required for each carriage in order to cover the full frequency range.
