Description
The 6940B will accept a maximum of 15 plug-in I/O cards. The mainframe has two 50-contact, ribbon data connectors. It also has a data transfer rate of 20 k words/Sec. Maximum data resolution of 12 bits/plug-in card. The front panel controls will provide power to the ON/OFF switch and to the indicator lamp, the Remote/Local switch is for selecting computer or manual control, and the 19 proximity switches are for the manual data entry and control.
