Signal Source Analyzers are used in a wide range of applications including RF/uW/mmW oscillators, VCO’s, system reference clocks, LAN modules, high-speed timing modules, SerDes chips, and high-speed data converters (ADC/DAC). This application note compares the measurement results of a Berkeley Nucleonics Model 7300 signal source analyzer and a Keysight E5052B. Each instrument tested the Texas Instruments EMV LMX2592 with default settings and measurements taken from the same DUT.
